Armored Saint’s Emotion Factory Reset is the band’s ninth studio album, released on 22 May 2026 through Metal Blade Records. The Amber Marble vinyl is one of the official colour variants announced by the label, alongside several other regional editions. Metal Blade’s release notes position it as the band’s first new full-length since Punching the Skyand confirm the album was recorded across multiple studios with cover art by DDKing.

As a record, Emotion Factory Reset sounds like Armored Saint doing what they have always done well without slipping into self-imitation. The first impression is that it leans into the band’s classic strengths, heavy riffs, strong hooks, and that mix of grit and melody that John Bush has always sold better than almost anyone. The label’s own write-up points to songs like “Close To The Bone,” “Hit A Moonshot,” and “Every Man-Any Man” as examples of the band honouring its past while still sounding rooted in the present, and that feels like the right angle. This does not read like a nostalgia exercise. It reads like a veteran metal band still writing with purpose.

What makes Armored Saint endure is that they rarely sound forced. There is always a muscular, street-level honesty to their records, and Emotion Factory Reset looks built on exactly that. Bush described “Close To The Bone” as vintage Armored Saint that still sounds like 2026, while Joey Vera and the rest of the band framed the album as another distinct chapter rather than a repeat of older glories. That matters, because the best Armored Saint records are never just about weight. They are about character. If this album follows through on the promise of that first single and the tracklist, it should land as another strong late-period Saint record rather than just a respectable one.

For collectors, the amber marbled vinyl is a proper limited variant. Metal Blade lists the Amber Marble pressing as a UScolour edition, and EU promo text also references an amber marbled version as a limited exclusive pressing. So if you are stocking the coloured version rather than standard black, this is one of the sharper-looking options tied to the release.
