Bruce Kulick: Transformer (Blue & Yellow Vinyl)

$70.99

Bruce Kulick’s Transformer is being released for Record Store Day 2026 on 18 April 2026 as an RSD Exclusive LP. The official RSD listing says the pressing is limited to 1,500 copies, and multiple RSD listings describe the vinyl as one side yellow and one side blue effect vinyl. The release is presented as a newly redesigned and remastered edition of Kulick’s second solo album, which originally came out in 2004 and had never previously been released on vinyl.

For KISS fans, this one has obvious appeal. Bruce Kulick spent over a decade as KISS’s lead guitarist, and Transformerlands in that sweet spot where it feels like a proper solo record rather than a side curiosity. The RSD notes are clearly pushing it as a collector-focused piece for the KISS audience, but the album itself has real value beyond that. It sits comfortably in the melodic hard rock lane, with enough polish, hooks, and guitar weight to make it worthwhile on its own terms.

What makes this 2026 edition interesting is that it is not just a straight repress of the old CD. The official description says the package has been re-designed with new art and re-mastered, which gives it a bit more collector pull than a basic archival pressing. Bruce himself also noted that the artwork first shown in the RSD announcement was a placeholder and not the final cover going to press, so the finished package matters here.
