Recorded at the Illinois National Guard Armory in Rockford on 15 November 1975, this unofficial KISS release captures the original line-up right in the middle of the Alive! tour, just as the band was exploding from cult attraction into arena-level phenomenon. Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss sound raw and hungry, and the show is particularly notable for the live appearance of “Ladies In Waiting.” Rush opened the sold-out concert, which drew a reported crowd of 3,610.

This modern collector’s pressing spreads the performance across two 180g coloured vinyl LPs and includes both a poster and booklet. Current copies have surfaced on orange, purple and black vinyl. It is an unofficial release rather than a Universal/Casablanca KISS title.

One collector detail worth noting: your back cover lists “C’mon And Love Me”, but surviving documentation of the actual Rockford concert lists “Got To Choose” in that position instead. Contemporary bootleg documentation also identifies the Rockford tape as containing “Got To Choose”, so the sleeve may contain a track-title error.
