PETER CRISS RETURNS WITH FIRST SOLO ALBUM IN NEARLY TWO DECADES

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and original KISS drummer Peter Criss is set to release a brand-new self-titled solo album on December 19, 2025, marking his first solo studio release since One For All in 2007. Timed to arrive one day before his 80th birthday, the album stands as a powerful late-career statement from one of Rock music’s most recognisable and influential drummers.

Simply titled Peter Criss, the album is a hard-hitting, straight-ahead Rock record that finds the Catman reconnecting with the sound and attitude that first made him a household name. Gritty, confident, and unapologetically old-school, the record leans into raw grooves, punchy riffs, and Criss’ unmistakable voice, delivering what many fans will recognise as his most Rock-focused solo effort to date.

The album features an impressive lineup of guest musicians, including John 5 on guitar, Billy Sheehan on bass, and Paul Shaffer on keyboards, alongside longtime collaborators. Together, they help bring Criss’ songs to life with energy, muscle, and respect for classic Rock traditions.
