40th Anniversary 180g Blue & White Marble Vinyl – Half-Speed Re-Master of W.A.S.P’s clasic third album from 1986.
W.A.S.P.’s Inside The Electric Circus returns for Record Store Day 2026 as a 40th anniversary reissue on 180g Blue & White Marble vinyl, released by Madfish on 18 April 2026. Official RSD and Madfish listings both identify it as a half-speed remaster, while Rough Trade lists it as limited to 2,000 copies. 
As an album, Inside The Electric Circus has always sat in an interesting spot in the W.A.S.P. catalogue. It does not have the raw shock of the debut and it is not as fully sharpened as The Headless Children, but it absolutely has its own appeal. This is W.A.S.P. in full mid-80s excess, leaning into sleaze, hooks, and a big theatrical hard rock sound without completely losing its teeth. The title track, “9.5.-N.A.S.T.Y.”, “I’m Alive,” and “The Rock Rolls On” all carry that neon-drenched menace Blackie Lawless did so well. The 2026 half-speed remaster angle makes sense here because this is a record built on punch, shine, and swagger. 
For collectors, this is the pressing to chase if you want the current premium version. The official catalogue number is SMALP1322 and the UPC / barcode is 636551832212. Different retailers describe the colour slightly differently, with some saying Blue & White Marble and others using terms like Blue Galaxy, but the official RSD and Madfish wording points to Blue & White Marble as the safest store title.
