The title of 2001’s In Torment in Hell may well have been referring to Deicide’s collective state of mind as well as offering another example of their usual dark metaphysical/ religious musings. The band was at each other’s throats and at war with their label (this was their last album for Roadrunner), which has led to less-than-kind reviews from fans and even the band itself.
