Released in 1976, Rock And Roll Over found KISS returning to the raw, high-voltage rock ‘n’ roll that established their reputation. Following the ambitious production of Destroyer, the band reunited with Eddie Kramer to capture their live energy in the studio. The result was ten tracks of swaggering hard rock, infectious choruses and some of the finest performances from the band’s original line-up.

Fifty years later, Kramer returns to the original analogue multitrack tapes to create an entirely new stereo mix of the album. Rather than simply remastering the original recording, this 2026 edition revisits the individual instruments and vocals, offering a fresh perspective on classics such as “Calling Dr. Love”, “I Want You”, “Mr. Speed” and “Hard Luck Woman”. It’s an opportunity to rediscover one of KISS’s defining ’70s albums through the ears of the man who originally produced it.

The 50th Anniversary Edition features newly reimagined artwork in gold, red and black. The standalone remix is available on 180g black vinyl and CD, both featuring all ten original album tracks in their previously unreleased 2026 mixes.
