The Label

The Label division of Rue Morgue Records was born in December 2018. Our first seven-inch single for solo artist Dan Brittain (formerly of Shots Fired, Electrik Dynamite, and now fronting Silent Knight) sold out within a week.

Since then, we have released seven-inch vinyl for artists such as the aforementioned Dan Brittan, Subtract-S, Grant Burns, Midnight Alibi, Palace Of The King, Southbound Snake Charmers, Nothing Sacred, Karly Jewell, The Vendettas, Espionage, Riff Raiders, and HZED, with more in the hallowed pipeline.

Our seven-inch vinyl series features beautifully crafted boutique 7″ singles that look as amazing as they sound. We spare no expense in making every release world-class!

We have also released a 10″ EP for Dive Into Ruin, and currently, in the cooker, we have the forthcoming Mushroom Giant release and a 10th anniversary of Witchgrinder’s The Demon Calling album.

Along the way, we have released two compilation albums on vinyl, the highly successful Murders In The Rue Morgue series. Volumes 1 and 2 were released throughout 2021 and 2022, respectively, and we are now putting the finishing touches to Volume 3. We have also begun work on a Punk compilation series entitled Spankmag (don’t ask!) and an all-metal release of our Murders series, which will be Volume 4. All these are scheduled for a 2023 release.

It’s safe to say we know what we are doing, and we proudly work on these records with artists who are dedicated to releasing a quality, limited-edition product to their fanbase. We do not just slap the Rue Morgue Records name on anything. No siree!
